Benton End: A Paradise of Pollen and Paint takes visitors into the heart of Benton End, the house, garden, and art school led by artist-plantsman Cedric Morris and his partner, artist Arthur Lett-Haines. This immersive exhibition explores the extraordinary community that gathered there, from artists Lucian Freud and Joan Warburton, to gardener Beth Chatto and cookery writer Elizabeth David.

We are delighted to be supporting the exhibition and have loaned an outstanding selection of pictures from our inventory, including Morris' monumental Plants and Garden Produce at Benton End, as well as several new acquisitions such as Boswednack, Cornwalland two works on paper by Lucian Freud.
