Four Star Review for Charleston: The Bloomsbury Muse

Lucy Davies for The Daily Telegraph

Our current exhibition, 'Charleston: The Bloomsbury Muse' and 'Duncan Grant: 1920' which is on display at The Charleston Trust, were both rated 4 stars in The Daily Telegraph today by Lucy Davies.

Duncan Grant: 1920, at The Charleston Trust is a recreation of Duncan's first solo exhibition in 1920, 101 years ago and showcases over 30 works. The Charleston Trust exhibition is the first solo show of Duncan's since his death in 1978.

As Lucy Davies points out there can be 43 year wait for a Duncan Grant exhibition, and two 'peaches' of shows come at once. Some highlights mentioned by Lucy Davies include The Granary in Winter by Vanessa Bell, and The Pond in Winter by Duncan Grant, amongst a number of other exhibited artworks.

'Charleston: The Bloomsbury Muse' is on display until 10th November at the gallery.
