Fake or Fortune? is the most watched arts programme on television, regularly drawing audiences upwards of 5 million viewers in the UK; it is also broadcast in North America, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Germany. The award-winning programme was first broadcast by the BBC in summer 2011 and is now in production for series six, due to air in summer 2017.

Philip Mould and journalist Fiona Bruce work together to examine the provenance of exciting works of art with the aim of proving their authenticity. The hunt for evidence takes them across the globe to family collections, museums, archives and laboratories in the search for evidence to support their case, before the work is presented to the relevant authorities for their final verdict.
