Ellie Smith Exhibition Coordinator & Researcher

Before graduating from the University of Bristol in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art, Ellie was involved in a research project investigating the visual representation of interracial relationships. This prompted her introduction to the Graduate internship programme at the company. Following six months at Christie's in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Department, Ellie re-joined Philip Mould & Company.

 

Ellie recently published the first biography of the artist Sarah Biffin and co-curated the exhibition Without Hands” The Art of Sarah BiffinDuring her time at the gallery, Ellie has worked on exhibitions including; Divine People: The Art of Ambrose McEvoy (2019-2020); Pioneers: 500 Years of Women in British Art (2020)Charleston: The Bloomsbury Muse (2021).
