To coincide with Gainsborough's House exhibition Revealing Nature: The Art of Cedric Morris and Lett-Haines, we are revisiting some of the films we have produced on Cedric Morris over the years.
The Philip Mould Gallery's journey into the life and work of Cedric Morris began with the 2018 exhibition Cedric Morris: Beyond the Garden Wall, which focused on Morris' paintings from his travels abroad, tracking his movements from 1908 to the last years before his death in 1982. Many of our films have focused on this travel paintings, but also on his floral masterpieces and vibrant still lifes.
