Calling all young artists! Do you know a budding Monet under 12 who would relish the opportunity to have their painting in a frame worthy of Claude himself? Might you have the privilege of being acquainted with a mini Matisse who's work would hold their own amongst other great masters? Or, perhaps you've even witnessed the skill of a Picasso progeny at work? This is their chance to showcase their talent.
We are delighted to announce our involvement in Bourlet Framer's Young Masters Art Prize, in support of the Cavell Nurses' Trust. During this challenging time of isolation and distance, we think that it is important to harbour the creativity of the nation's young artists. Bourlet are asking children aged 12 or younger to draw, scribble and create an artwork worthy of hanging in our London Gallery.
To enter, simply post a photo of the artwork on Instagram before Friday 1st May and use the hashtag #BourletYoungMasters. The artworks will be judged by Philip himself (@philip_mould_gallery), Portrait artist Lorna May Wadsworth Wadsworth (@Lorna_May_) and Painter Davina Jackson (@artistmotherdj). The winner will be announced on Tuesday 5th May.
The winning artwork will be framed by Bourlet and hung on display at our Gallery. The crowned Young Master will also be awarded with a family trip to London to view their masterpiece alongside £150 spending money & £150 in CASS ART vouchers.
It is vital that we support our healthcare professionals throughout this time, so we encourage all participants to make a donation to the Cavell Nurses' Trust in order to qualify for the prize. You don't have to enter the competition to contribute so please give what you can and spread the word to help us raise our target of £10,000.

Bourlet has been framing the artworks of many of the world's most celebrated artists for nearly 200 years. Old Masters and eminent names like Picasso, Matisse and Monet all have artworks complemented by their frames.
