Join Philip on Thursday 29th June at Chalke Valley History Festival for a second presentation of his talk ‘Facing the Queen: The Artists’ Challeges’.

 

Philip will be discussing the most successful portraits of the late Queen Elizabeth II, looking at the portraitists’ challenges in the 'high-wire artistic act' of expressing the concept of 'majesty'.
