Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear
19 March - 6 November
The highly anticipated exhibition Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear has now opened at the V&A. The exhibition showcases the variety of 'masculinities' across the centuries, through an exploration and celebration of male fashion.
Contemporary designs, fashion icons and rising stars are displayed amongst Renaissance and Old Master paintings including Portrait of Prince Alessandro Farnesse by Sofonisba Anguissola and Portrait of Charles Coote, 1st Earl of Bellamont by Sir Joshua Reynolds.
Inspired by the V&A exhibition, Philip Mould & Company will be staging a new display A Brush with Fashion: 500 Years of Male Portraiture which opens on 13th April and will run until 20th May.

Hockney to Himid: 60 Years of British Printmaking
13 November 2021 - 24 April 2022
This exhibition is currently on display at Pallant House Gallery, and comes to a close this month on the 24th April. The display showcases a wide range of artists whose styles and techniques demonstrate the surge of printmaking in post-war Britain.
Including works by Peter Blake, Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, this exhibition explores how printmaking enabled artists to explore new creative possibilities against a backdrop of constant social change.
Whilst at Pallant House Gallery, visit their impressive permanent collection display of Modern British art, including works by Ben Nicholson, Christopher Wood and Lucien Freud.
See six decades of British art through one versatile medium until 24th April.

Pre-Raphaelite Treasures: Drawings and Watercolours from the Ashmolean Museum
8 March - 12 June 2022
The Ashmolean Museum's impressive collection of Pre-Raphaelite drawings and watercolours has travelled from Oxford to Surrey this Spring. Pre-Raphaelite Treasures: Drawings and Watercolours from the Ashmolean Museum is on show at the Watts Gallery near Guilford until the 12th June
The exhibition showcases works by artists including Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Edward Burne-Jones, and Elizabeth Siddal, alongside examples by Pre-Raphaelite contemporary George Frederick Watts from Watts Gallery's own collection.
The exhibition explores Pre-Raphaelite concepts of beauty and how these artists experimented with different drawing materials to create works in pencil, pen, coloured chalks, and watercolour.
