Clara Birnberg was the epitome of a 'new woman'; a member of the Women's Freedom League suffragette movement, pacifist, vegetarian and pioneering artist working during a tempestuous time in Britain's history. Philip explores her radical painting Dawn , currently on display at Philip Mould & Company as part of our exhibition.
