[1] The copy of the present miniature in the Victoria and Albert Museum portrait was described as after an original miniature (presumably the present work) by Alexander Cooper belonging to ‘Lord Glenconner’. This was described c.1931 by the Hon. FHA Wallop when the later copy was lent to the Museum.
