Ellie Smith Exhibition Coordinator & Researcher
Before graduating from the University of Bristol in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art, Ellie was involved in a research project investigating the visual representation of interracial relationships. Ellie recently published the first biography of the artist Sarah Biffin and co-curated the exhibition “Without Hands” The Art of Sarah Biffin. During her time at the gallery, Ellie has worked on exhibitions including; Divine People: The Art of Ambrose McEvoy (2019-2020); Pioneers: 500 Years of Women in British Art (2020); Charleston: The Bloomsbury Muse (2021).
