A member of the Arts Club and the Burlington Fine Arts Club, his porcelain collection sold at Christie's, 8 March 1865; his copy of Turner's Liber Studiorum, 26 April 1883; paintings and modern watercolours, Christie's, 22 May 1886 and Old Master prints, Sotheby's, 27 May-5 June 1886.
